We have been looking forward to driving the Balsam Trail. This is probably the only route we have not yet experienced in the Smoky Mountains or along the Blue Ridge Parkway. After seeing this we just can’t wait!
Thanks for that video! It was great.
As a long time (since 1954) lover of and visitor to the GSMNP I always enjoys my visits to the Park, and my correspondence from GSMA, nee GSMNHA, when I cannot be in the Park.
This was another of your always fantastic videos, publications, maps, books etc. I know your good works will continue for many years.
Thanks for all that you do.
Edwin Dale
THANKS for the video. We have hiked and driven many trails within the GSM, but have never heard of this one!
THANKS for sharing!
I just drove the Balsam Mountain Rd down the Big Cove Rd in Cherokee. This is one of the best trips I have ever had to The Smokies. I saw a lot of animals on this trip including Black Bear.
Thank you for the useful information. Keep up the great work!
