Here at GSMA we are preparing for the annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage (FRENZY!!). During this famous event, more than a thousand wildflower buffs will descend on the Park from all over the country.
And it’s worth it. The wildflower displays in the Smokies are absolutely spectacular. And, for a change of pace, it’s fun to hike around and see the mountains before the leaves come back on the trees.

Register early because the hikes fill up fast! This year we have 174 different events covering a wide range of flora and fauna in the Park. You can attend lectures and slide shows by experts in the Gatlinburg Mills Center. Or, if you are feeling frisky, you can go on outings rated from easy to difficult, all led by experts in the subject matter.
