I have hiked to Mt LeConte a dozen times. Th first time was in the 1970's. The last was two years ago. I have had the pleasure of hiking on all five trails. Each one is unique. Your vidio broght back the thrill again.
Thank you.

Great video on the llamas. I have hiked the Alum Bluff Trail to Le Conte Lodge twice and love it. I plan on hiking the other trails up to Le Conte in the near future. I look forward to encountering the llamas on one of my hikes!

I have hiked all over the GSMNP. It is such a Beautiful place! I have hiked to the summit of Mt. LeConte twice-once via Alum Cave and once via the A.T./The Boulevard trail. It is one of my favorites in the park. My most recent summit was 3 weeks ago--I stayed in the backcountry shelter. There are 4 different "points" at the top, but only 3 of them can be hiked to via established trail. I recommend taking the time to see them. The views and the solitude are truly awesome!! I love the Smokies!! God Bless!! (I've seen the Llamas, they are interesting animals)

Great video! Well done! My brother, who'd been to Mt LeConte several times, served as guide for my first trip in Oct. '09. We went up the Boulevard, stayed over-night at the Lodge & came down on Alum Cave. Come May, 2011 we will once again make the climb. This time we will be taking the Trillium Gap up, staying two nights & come back down on the Rainbow. Our plans include lunch with the Llamas. Someone asked why we wanted to go there... sadly, there is no way to explain it. See ya on the trail...

Loved the LLama video. The hike to Mt. LeConte has been on my "Bucket List" for many years. Two years ago I broke my ankle and leg and have 16 screws and a plate in it. My hiking days are almost over. Certainly to LeConte. So I really enjoyed the video. I can dream of riding one of those lovely creatures to the top!!haha

I hiked this in June 2010 and loved it. The llamas where there when we got to the top and we so enjoyed talking to the llama wrangler. He was so patient answering all our questions about the ins and outs of his job. The lodge was amazing and I am proud to say that I checked this hike off of my bucket list. I had always wanted to do it and I certainly hope I get to hike it again!
