Smoky Mountain Memories was opened in 1982 after Bill Kenner started taking pictures of the local area and friends wanted them and he and his wife, Mary Margaret, framed and matted them. They then picked up several customers and operated out of their home. In 1997 they built the current picture frame complex at 2491 Newport Hwy. in Sevierville, TN which they own and operate along with their two sons. Currently they do custom framing for needle work, shadow boxes, and all types of art and photograph framing. Bill has his Smoky Mountain area photos including over 50 outhouse pictures that everyone seems to have fin with. The also do framing for many of the local artists. Smoky Mountain Memories was opened in 1982 after Bill Kenner started taking pictures of the local area and friends wanted them and he and his wife, Mary Margaret, framed and matted them. They then picked up several customers and operated out of their home. In 1997 they built the current picture frame complex at 2491 Newport Hwy. in Sevierville, TN which they own and operate along with their two sons. Currently they do custom framing for needle work, shadow boxes, and all types of art and photograph framing.
