Bear-Proof Food Containers

Do any of the non-reserved backcountry campsites have bear containers for your food? How about established hoist ropes/systems? I'm planning on camping in the Tremont area in a few weeks. First time backcountry camping.
Pardon my inexperience, but it is recommended to hoist only food items? Do you hoist your full backpack up as well?

Bassmen6, Yes, they all have convenient cable systems to hoist up your food and packs at night. Handy!
Most people hoist their pack as well. There is some danger of rodents chewing through a pack to get food, however.
