Difficulty of Hike to Campsite 63

Comments in "History Hikes" states NC is a gentlr grade all the way to campsite 63 but one writer says it hard. First trip coming up. Who is right?

Clyde, It's a relatively gradual, easy climb up Noland Creek Trail to #63. There aren't many easier in the Smokies, anyway. Of course, nothing is "easy" when carrying a heavy backpack.
