A beautiful day for a short hike. Following many days of rain, I thought the paved trail leading to the falls would help provide safe walking conditions for a pleasant hike..........; I was not denied! Happy Trails!

I first saw this waterfall 3 years ago while hiking.
Its about 200 yards from Grotto Falls down the side of the trail.
Sometimes you just have to look for the hidden treasures that
are all around us.

I just love all of the wildlife in Cades Cove. You never know what you will get to see. Each trip I make there, leaves me in awe of the beauty and majesty of the Great Smoky Mountains.

I just love this waterfall. I have taken alot of shots of it during the winter, but none came out as perfect as this.
